We offer you the chance to gain a unique experience aboard the steam locomotive or diesel railcar and diesel locomotive!
Cabine ride - footplate experience steam locomotive
You see how the engine driver and fireman work together to make the train run. Coals are thrown on the fire, water is taken, the engine driver throws the regulator open and there the train goes.
See and learn what real life is like on a steam locomotive!
During this experience you will receive an explanation from the engine driver and our volunteers.
Cabine ride on the diesel railcar and diesel locomotive
Experience the ride in the best place of the diesel railcar and diesel locomotive: in the cab! Discover the entire instrument panel operated by the engine driver. You will experience the various shunting movements with a 600hp diesel locomotive as well as trips on the line with this diesel locomotive and diesel railcar.
During this experience you will receive an explanation from the engine driver and our volunteers.

Unfortunately, driving on the museum railway is not permitted due to safety. There is, however, the possibility to make shunting movements on the station site with the steam locomotive or diesel engine car and / or diesel locomotive under professional supervision.
